June 19, 2020 UPDATE To our seasonal campers: The group limit for socializing without the need to social distance is 10 people. We will allow visitors from the Province of Nova Scotia to come to your trailer for a visit but they must be pre-registered with the office and must stop at the office to fill out a visitor declaration on their arrival. Your visitors cannot stay longer than two weeks. Transient campers from the Province of Nova Scotia are allowed and must also compl...ete a visitor declaration. Transient campers can stay longer than two weeks and must be self sufficient as the public washrooms, playground and other public areas will remain closed. We will not provide picnic tables to transient camp sites. Out of province campers must show proof of 14 day isolation before entering our park. To all campers: If you have children in your group, you are responsible to be with them at all times. Keep them away from people that are not in your "group", playground area, laundromat etc. If you have pets, dogs or cats, please pick up after them and have control of them at all times. Please, stay vigilant and follow the rules so that everyone can stay healthy and enjoy their time at the park. We are keeping the motel closed for the entire season to also help keep you safe. Everyone must work together towards the same goal so that we can all enjoy the summer. Updates are always posted on the board outside the office. Thank you, Steve and Janis
MOTEL UPDATE: As of today, June 7, 2020 we made the final decision to keep the motel closed for the entire season. Anyone that had a reservation has been contacted and their fantastic response and understanding was greatly appreciated. Thank you all. As for the campground, we can accept limited reservations for self contained RV's and trailers. Please note that picnic tables will not be supplied and public areas will remain closed. Most importantly, to all campers, seasonal ...or transient, no visitors will be allowed in the park this season. We know there will be some disappointed grandchildren and great grandchildren, but in order to keep everyone safe we feel it is necessary at this time. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay six (6) feet apart. Sincerely, Janis and Steve.
Covid -19 UPDATE May 30, 2020 MOTEL: Will tentatively open June 15th, 2020 assuming all goes well within the province with the relaxing of restrictions. TRANSIENT CAMPERS: Starting June 5th, 2020 we will accept campers in RV's/ travel trailers that are self contained and efficient. This means working washroom as public washrooms are not available to anyone. We are only allowed 50% of our transient sites to be used to ensure proper distancing is achieved. We will not supply pi...cnic tables at these sites. No tenting will be available for the duration of the 2020 season. The playground will be closed for the duration of the 2020 season SEASONAL CAMPERS: Groups of up to 10 people are allowed as long as you maintain 6 feet social distancing from those not in your "bubble". No visitors from outside of the park are allowed. Public area closures are still in effect.
