Did you know that we have a Book Club that meets monthly to discuss different books? Their meetings are held the first Monday of the month. February 1 is the next meeting date and the topic of conversation will be "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown. ... Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day!! If you have the opportunity, today is a fantastic day to spread a little kindness and cheer. Here is a list of small things you can do to spread the cheer today:... 1. When you go through the drive through for a coffee, buy the car behind you a coffee too. 2. Leave a friendly note on your neighbours door or car just to brighten their day. 3. Shovel your street. 4. Let someone in front of you while in line. 5. Park further away in the parking lot so someone else can park closer. 6. Smile at people (even when wearing your mask - your eyes smile too!) 7. Use kind words - sprinkle that stuff on EVERYTHING 8. Post inspirational sticky notes around your neighbourhood or work place. 9. Collect the grocery carts in the parking lot at the grocery store. 10. Leave goodies at a place you know the team could use a pick-me-up! What other ways can we share the kindness?
