Recently, I spoke with a resident of Mount Pearl who works at the Gathering Place. He told me that they are currently in desperate need of several different toi...letry items, and he asked me to help spread the word. They currently have no shampoo, body wash, shaving cream nor men's deodorant. In addition, they are in constant need of men's and women's underwear (all sizes) and towels. Donations of these and other items can be brought directly to the Donations Drop Off door at the Gathering Place, which is located off Military Road. Donations can be received between 9 am and 3 pm.
