We cant even begin to express how grateful we are to everyone for coming out to support our community today! We dont have all the numbers just yet, but so far we have more than doubled last year!!! Starting today and continuing through the weekend, POGOS will be on sale, BUY 2 AND GET 1 FREE! We also have an overstock of our Zesty Nacho Cheese Sauce to get rid of. Having been closed for 5 weeks due to Covid, we did not use as much as we normally would for the season and it will expire through the winter before we re-open. A huge shout out to our amazing customers! With your help, we were able to donate $1600 to help our friends and furry rescues at Heavens Wildlife!!! We had the pleasure of getting a tour of the facility and meeting some of the volunteers and educational animals! It really is a great place and they do amazing work!!! Thanks again for all you do to help our wildlife!!! We still have lots of shirts, including youth sizes! All proceeds for the remainder of the year will be going to Noelles Gift! An amazing organization that helps the children in our community to grow up great! So be sure to stop in and pick one up! We are beyond grateful to have been able to help people with one of their final wishes. When I first learned that we would be a part of this, I fought back the tears as it is definitely something that hits home for us this year. It was our pleasure to be part of their day and we hope that it was one that will be cherished for all that were involved. This is an amazing program and great thing that these volunteers are doing! We are absolutely honoured to have been a part of this and it would be our priveledge to do it again! xoxo

This may be our last weekend for ice cream!!! Weather and inventory permitting, we may open back up for Thanksgiving weekend but that is uncertain as of right now! We're getting a lot of questions about when we are closing for the season. The fry side will remain open daily 11 A.M. until dark (which will be earlier each night as time goes on) through til the end of October! We are still a little unsure how long the ice cream side will stay open but until the end of Sept for sure! ATTENTION PICKLE LOVERS!!!! We have added a new item to our menu and we think its a pretty big dill! DILL PICKLE FRIES! Our classic Alberts fries drizzled with a lemon, dill aioli and then topped with chucks of dill pickles and finished off with a sprinkle of chives! Come on in and give them a try! Keep in mind that the fry side line is along the sidewalk, entering through the front door on the Alberts side and the ice cream line is along the parking lot side of the building and entering through the back door! Some great news!

So with everything being take out we have pretty much depleted our stockpile for the season and our outside resources are not able to keep up during this time. We would like to encourage everyone to bring in their own carryout trays, whether it be a pop case, cookie sheet or whatever you think you will need! Also if you have any you would like to get rid of, please feel free to bring them to us! (Just knock at the back door of the Alberts side and we will gladly use them up!) These last few weeks/months have definitely been a learning curve for all of us! With the help of a great staff and understanding, supporting customers, we have been able to operate while still adhering to the physical distancing rules! With that being said, we are going to do a trial run of our FULL MENU! Starting tomorrow, the Alberts side will be serving all of your favs! We are hopeful that things can move as quickly as they have been and that we can continue to serve you... in a safe and timely manner! We will be open daily 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. We have implemented new safety precautions to keep both our staff and our customers... as safe as we can. We will be limiting the amount of customers allowed in the building at once to 10. We have also temporarily reduced our menu to focus on items that take 4 minutes or less to cook. We are doing this in an effort to reduce line ups and serve everyone as quickly as possible all while still adhering to the physical distancing rules. Our ice cream section will remain closed. We want to make sure that things are running safely and smoothly before we open it. Here are a few changes that we would like everyone to be aware of: - we can not stress enough to send 1 person!!!! -be mindful of physical distancing while waiting outside (there is only room for a few people (8ish)to wait on our sidewalk while adhering to the physical distancing rules. -please pay attn to the signs we have in place to assist you -our outdoor seating is unavailable at this time -our washrooms are closed to the public -we will have a menu posted outside, please get your groups order together and send in only 1 person to place it -we will be putting condiments (salt, vinegar, ketchup) on the fries in the kitchen, so make sure to ask people what they would like on them! Good Morning everyone! We just wanted to give you an update in regards to our current status. We are still closed and not quite sure when we will re-open just yet. We want everyone to know that this is a very hard decision and one that we go back and forth with. We want nothing more than to be up and running and serving all of our amazing customers but at the same time, want to do our part with keeping everyone as safe as we possibly can! Changes with Covid are happening every single day and we can assure you that as soon as we feel the time is right, we will open our doors and start serving those fries! After a lot of deliberation, Alberts has decided to temporarily close its doors and quarantine. We have been trying to continue to serve the public via takeout and only allowing a very limited number of customers into the restaurant at a time, as well as diligently sanitizing and bleaching all surfaces. That being said, the number of people becoming infected continues to rise and we want to do out part to keep our amazing staff and our dedicated customers healthy! We encourage people to stay home as much as you can and make sure to wash your hands and sanitize when you do have to go out! We wish you all the best and hope to see you all very, very soon! COVID-19 Announcement (TAKE-OUT ONLY DAILY 11 a.m.-7 p.m.) For the safety of our customers and staff, we will be suspending the use of our dining room until further notice. We will however continue to offer take out daily from 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. We will only allow 10 to 15 customers in at a time which should easily allow 1-2 meters distance between people as has been recommended for social distancing. (tables will be moved to ensure this) We will make sure to sanitize surfaces constantly and ensure that our staff maintains the highest level of personal hygiene. We encourage the use of debit! (we do not have tap) This is a very hard time for everyone. Lets hope that we can kick the crap out of this disease quickly! Until then, please be kind and take care!

Well, its that time of the year! Alberts will be open for the season beginning this Saturday, March 7th at 11 a.m.- dark! We will be open everyday after that (including holidays) from 11 a.m. until dark! The ice cream side will remain closed until the weather warms up! Hope to see you all this weekend!!!

Alberts/Suzys will be having a job fair next Sunday, Feb.16th from 12 p.m-1:30 p.m. We will be hiring for all positions, fry side and ice cream side. Anything f...rom potato peelers to ice cream scoopers! Christmas in the Village/Alberts Annual Food Drive was a huge success this year! With your generosity, we were able to DOUBLE last years numbers with a whopping 2178 pounds of food, buy Christmas gifts for 3 children in the Adopt a Family program and donate over $1000 to The Inn! None of this could happen without your continuing support and love for the community. So we would like to thank you all so very much and we are so proud of everyone involved, such as our staff and helpers, the Purolator volunteers, our customers and food distributors to name a few! From our family to yours, please have a safe and happy holiday season!!!
