ImmersiveLink can transport you to worksites that you may never normally have the opportunity to visit! The film crew at ORIGIN, captured many Career Experiences last year. This particular experience, was for a Boilermaker. We heard from Tom Milette and some of his colleagues from Stelco. Chi-Miigwech Tom, as you were a great host for the Boilermaker experience!

We would like to take this time to introduce you to our newest team member, Kashif Syed. With an innate passion for dabbling into emerging technologies, Kashif is a driven technologist, researcher and an advocate for diversity and inclusiveness. Kashif is a well-rounded developer with a strong technical background in animation and solid modelling. He posses a keen focus on 3D asset creation for VR environments. He is a dependable team player that has worn many technical hats.... His former background in Mechanical Systems and Software Engineering, has allowed him to be agile. Seeking to further curate the ImmersiveLink Cultural and Career platforms, Kashif has joined the core team at ORIGIN, as a Virtual Reality/360 designer to shape user experiences for clients. His past research work was focused on developing cost-effective methods for training nursing students on virtual sterile field setups. His previous contributions within the engineering realm, were in mission critical payload integration for the Aerospace and Defense industry, in effort to support National Defense and NATO allies via C6ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber-Defense and Combative Systems) and integrated mission systems. His primary goal is to help shape world class virtual reality content offering, by utilizing cutting edge technologies and enabling unforgettable user experiences for clients. He is a strong believer that the foundation to sustaining exponential growth is the result of empowering and offering a sense of ownership to everyone in the organization and beyond to the clients and business partners.
