It’s windy, it’s cloudy, it’s fall! And that means it’s HOT CHOCOLATE SEASON! I’m not gonna lie - during fall/winter I easily consume a vat of hot chocolate every day. Sometimes I get REALLY fancy or experimental... but here is my go to method: 1. Find the biggest mug in the cupboard. ... 2. Put in about a tablespoon of high quality cocoa powder like this one from @askinosie 3. I use agave syrup to sweeten. Not too much, but just enough to mix in with the powder to turn it into a thick chocolaty paste. 4. A dash of Cardamom 5. A square or two of your favourite DARK chocolate. I would go 75% at least, but the higher the better. Try the 100% Costa Esmeraldas from @letterpresschocolate. 6. Add milk - I just zap it in the microwave - but if I’m feeling especially nostalgic I’ll take the time to heat on the stove. 7. Fill your mug about 1/2 way to cover up all that chocolaty goodness and then give it a minute so that the couple of squares of chocolate can melt. 8. Give it a good stir or whisk and then add the rest of the milk. 9. A pinch of salt on top. 10. Enjoy.
