Orillia Canada Day

On June 27th the Orillia Canada Day Committee will be giving away paper parade flags from Noon until 3pm. The location to pick up will be 97 Dunlop St We are asking everyone to enter off of Colborne St , come south to our tent , pickup their flags and proceed south. We are not allowing walk ups or pickup from the northbound side of the street as this will cause a hazard.... We will also be selling a 2020 Orillia Canada Day Button for $2.00 to start fundraising for future events. We look forward to seeing everyone and please be safe.

Hello to all Orillians, The Orillia Canada Day Festival Committee wants to send our best wishes to everyone near and far as we all navigate this challenging and still unfolding reality. As we are sure all expected, we are unable to run the 2020 Canada Day celebration next week on July 1st as we have enjoyed doing for many years. We continue to stand in solidarity with government, health and regulatory bodies who are fighting to maintain distancing protocols to protect our vu...lnerable during this time. That said, as soon as the situation changes, we will assess our ability to plan festivities, whether it be possible to run a celebration later this year or ultimately look to next year. Being a free, family oriented festival, we understand the value of community recreation and wholesome family experiences as they contribute to the health and well being of individuals, families, and the greater community as a whole. This is why, while we are saddened by the situation, we are excited to pick up where we left off as soon as we are given the all-clear, in whatever form that will take. Thanks to everyone who supports us, and we will be in touch again once we know more.
