Hey guys! Fox Fishing has some scent that's been getting some attention out there. I've worked with their crew to bring it to our store in some limited quantities. If you're interested check it out here: https://www.orilliafishing.com//redolence-scent-by-fox-fis

Who's catching whitefish?! I had a blast last weekend and I'm jonesingnto get back out. Sadly I'm on call for a week so I'll have to live through you guys! Can't wait to see all your pix! . Orilliafishing.com
I know I havent been sharing as much as I should but the bite has been a real struggle. We've been out on the back lakes targeting crappie recently but that bite has DIED! All the fish seem to be hugging bottom and moving around, very slowly. What used to be an apparent slaughter fest has turned into subtle small bait jigging for long periods of time while the fish stare at it and slowly decide if theyre hungry enough to bite the presentation. The @lunkerhunt Full Effect seems to be what they want from me while Tom uses small plastics. Both of us are using very small subtle movements when they show up on screen.
Interesting read by Wil, be interesting to see what happens this winter.
#FishFriday, #Fishlife Round Goby were first found in lake Simcoe in the Pefferlaw Brook in 2004 and concerns were expressed about its impact on Lake Simcoe. I...n 2005, efforts were made to eradicate the species but efforts were unsuccessful and since 2006, Round Goby have established a significant population in Lake Simcoe. Although Round Goby compete with native fish species, they've become a fundamental part of the Lake Simcoe food web. Lake Herring, Smelt and Shiners still make up a portion of the diet of many of Lake Simcoe's Sport fish and traditional baits are still being used. However, artificial baits resembling Round Goby are starting to outshine traditional methods. Baits like the Meegs, Badd Boyz and the STH Drifter have been super effective in catching Whitefish and Lake Trout. Interesting Facts: - Adult male gobies turn inky black during the spawning season (April to September) and develop swollen cheeks - Female Gobies can spawn up to six times in one spawning season - Gobies feed mainly on Mollusks including Zebra and Quagga Mussels For more info: https://sites.google.com//the-round-goby-invasion-and-its-
Quick reminder. Even the pros can have accidents.
Got a favorite color? I'm counting down to winter and super hyped to tie one of these on! #meegs #meegsjigs
Are you kidding?! This would be AMAZING!!!
Its hard to pin point who did it first but theres SO many variations on these baits. I even saw another on Fishn Canada called a shoal digger. This one's been around for a while!
More crazy boat antics this week. This time an unmanned boat almost runs over its occupants before smashing through a dock and landing on the beach. Kill switch lanyards are $3 on AlliExpress... just sayin... https://youtu.be/rlQHUGA2XSM
I'm not sure what he thought he was going to accomplish here...
Maybe he's just upset he doesn't have a nice bass boat?
Would you use a hovercraft as a mobile ice hut? Fish Crisp's Rocky Madsen did.
Dude. Watch this, SUPER good. https://youtu.be/5u9BAN3d8W8
Dude check out my buddy Kevin, smashing bug fish this weekend!!! All fish were safely released.
Today I had to say goodbye to my best friend. She was the most perfect companion and will be missed every day. I'm sorry Macie.
I forgot to share my new toy! Here's to a hopefull AMAZING winter ripping around finding tons of fish! Thanks @laughin.loon.fishin for hooking me up!
"It was just one of those random things, where I was covering water and looking for fish and I came across that barrel and there were five fish sitting on it," he said. "I went back every day and caught fish on that spot. Without the forward-facing sonar, I never would have found that and I never would have caught those fish." - Cory Johnston Fishing
Some BIG (no pun intended) news coming from MLF. What are your thoughts? I'd love to discuss on next Tuesdays podcast.
Nature always finds a way.
Is a jig your confidence bait? Dave Chong posted this on his page - I know summers done but I didnt get the chance to drop a jig as much as I wanted to. I'm gonna keep this here for Next year ;)
Have you been watching the podcast? @nellys_fishing sponsored a month worth of @xzonelures tackle for our weekly @fishdonkey tournament. We have one month left before the big @xzonelures grand prize package goes out!
If you've ever bought from us I'd love to know how it was for you!
Ya'll got them lipless ready for vertical jigging yet?
I'm totally the dude driving.
