This control measure is now required by public authorities in Quebec. Put into practice by the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), it is mandatory on all construction sites in Quebec (and all other workplaces) and is also highly recommended in Ontario by public authorities.
