BECAUSE OF YOU WE RAISED... The festival of lights that ran at the Orono fairgrounds last weekend had many different fundraisers. One was for a local family in ...Newcastle who lost everything in a house fire at the end of November. Yesterday we had the privilege of presenting them a cheque for $5,000! Yup thats right! How amazing is our community. In times of need we show how strong we are. So thank you for helping the Wilson's in their new beginning.

Yesterday would have been Opening day for the 168th Orono Fair with opening ceremony, Ambassadors competition, @TebworthBrothers , dairy show, demo cross and more! Today we would have welcomed our school children Agriculture Day, fiddle contest, 4-H dairy show, pie and cake auction and the BIG concert night. We are missing all the hustle and bustle the fair brings for you. With our down time we have already began the planning for bigger and better 2021! #ThisIsClarington #ClaringtonTourism #DurhamTourism #celebrateagricultureinclarington #oronotimes #durhamregion
