I’ve been highlighting & cutting my great friend Theresa Maguire’s hair for approximately 25 years now! We met when she walked into Estetica, a Salon I worked at way back in the old days. I’m the only one in Nanaimo who has ever done her hair. She gets compliments on it all the timenow mostly on Zoom meetings tho

Susan wins Makeover of the Week This was Susan’s 1st hair appointment with me! We did meet prior to this makeover for a complimentary consultation, as she hadn’t had her hair done in several months. She trusted me completely to update her look & we were both loving the end result. We even went outside to admire her new copper highlights sparkling in the sun. Fabulous! My turn! I love it when I get to be a Client. Hair is Artand this is a masterpiece. Each one of these foils has been precisely placed for maximum impact on 3/4 of my head. There’s 2 different shades of blonde encased in the foils, as well as some bright balayage around my face. My hair artist is the talented Madesen at Kiyo’s

She trusted me completely to update her look with multidimensional colour (highlights, lowlights) and many fresh layers to enhance her fine hair. My new friend Joel kindly agreed to be my model for my 1st ever black haircut. That’s correct, in my 35 years in the hair industry, I’ve never experienced black hair. Crazy. AND, this was his 1st haircut on Vancouver Island. He said I did a good job on his fade. Whew.
