For many years after losing my legs I felt I lost a very important part of myself, my femininity. I was stuck in these clunky metal legs with rusting bolts and ...my toes wouldn’t point. It’s amazing how little gestures like pointing our toes can feel so feminine and good. The saying is true, you don’t realize what you have until you lose it. However these days with a lot of creativity I have figured it out! These legs aren’t something I have to put on to walk, these legs are an extension of me and they have taken me to so many amazing places!
