Meet Dragos, who shares with us the evolution of his treatments! Dragos Calistru, a participant of the popular francophone reality show Occupation Double Afrique du Sud (2019), shares with us here in this video and future videos a bit more about how he’s experiencing his Invisalign* orthodontic treatments. He began the process back in August and was stoked about receiving the shells from start to finish all at once. It allowed him to see the progression of his teeth and just how straight they would be by the end of the Invisalign process. On aimerait pouvoir y répondre simplement et rapidement. Mais la vraie réponse est qu’un traitement orthodontique dure généralement entre 8 et 30 mois. Le temps varie d'une personne à l'autre, car cela dépend de plusieurs facteurs, dont : l'unicité et la complexité du cas; l'engagement du patient dans son propre traitement (ex. : mettre les élastiques lorsque requis, etc.); la collaboration de tous les intervenants, dont le personnel de la clinique. La bonne nouvelle est que ce dernier facteur est justement bien présent chez Face & Profil! Notre service est très humain et nous avons réellement à cœur le bien-être de notre clientèle. _________ A question we’re often asked is, ‘How long will my treatment take?’ and as much as we’d love to quickly scan you over the telephone, consult our crystal ball and give you an answer, it’s kind of the same as asking a six-month-old baby when they’ll be done with teething. All kidding aside, the honest to goodness truthful answer to this question is: it varies from one mouth to another. Generally speaking, a treatment will run anywhere from 8 to 30 months and will first depend on each case’s unicity and complexity. Then, the second most contributing factor is the patient’s level of cooperation! The more committed they are in going through the necessary motions such as putting in their elastics, the quicker and more successful the treatment will be. And finally, what ties it all together is what we feel is most vibrant, and that’s the human factor. When we embark upon this type of journey, we’re fully committed to being there, side by side with each person, as together, we journey towards a beautifully radiant smile!
