This one is rather depressing and we understand hard to hear for many, but it is message that we all need to understand. It is also a point that we need to make... to policy makers: Developmental Language Disorder is a serious condition with serious impacts. It is not 'something that the kid will grow out of.' And because DLD is common it impacts on large numbers of people in the workforce. We need far greater awareness of DLD, but also far better services.
