With the many changes we have made to respond to the current moment and our commitment to reach educators with equity and integrity, we are suggesting a number of changes be made to our constitution. https://home.osee.ca/about-osee/constitution/ We will be allocating time during the virtual AGM to outline these changes and will require OSEE members to vote for approval. If you are a member and are able, please review the suggested changes ahead of the meeting, and fill out t...he form (link at the top of document) with any questions or concerns. Join us for Jacob Rodenburg's workshop "The Gifts That Trees Give" before the AGM - 7pm-8:10pm, November 19th AGM - 8:15-9pm https://home.osee.ca/interactions-live-2/ Location: Zoom

In Nature, Online: Bringing Nature to You! https://highparknaturecentre.com/field-trips-elementary Take part in a free virtual STEM field trip opportunity through the High Park Nature Centre! HPNC has been running experiential outdoor educational field trips for more than 20 years! Their field trips are available to any class that has need of a subsidized field trip experience.... This field trip consists of two parts: 1) a synchronous virtual meeting that is STEM focused, where students will learn about fall trees, their adaptations for surviving the winter and species identification. The virtual meeting is about 1 to 1.5 hours long and includes a discussion on the theme and fun activities. 2) a STEM focused asynchronous learning package detailing safely distanced class activities for both in-person and virtual classrooms, activities for inside and outside, as well as an independent worksheet to solidify knowledge and check understanding. In Nature, Online is available for classes from grade 1 through 6. Our field trip are linked to the Ontario Curriculum for Science & Technology. Our field trips this year are completely free for participants thanks to a generous grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.
