Hey members! This year, the JD/MBA Students' Association 23rd Annual Conference"Climate Resilience"centres around the business and law of climate change, corporate governance, and sustainable investing. It is taking place on Friday, February 7th from 8:30 am - 2 pm, at Thomson Reuters (333 Bay Street). The insights that will be shared during the conference from leading investors, lawyers, and business professionals are at the forefront of live issues in business and law to...day (did you hear about the Business Roundtable Letter or BlackRock’s recent announcement?). If you are interested in any area of business law, environmental law, or corporate governance, this is the conference for you. The keynote address will be delivered in a fireside-style chat with the Canada Infrastructure Bank. Other panelists include partners at major Bay Street law firms, pension fund and asset management executives, as well as business consultants.
