Osgoode Rideau Minor Hockey Association 29.12.2020

Dear ORMHA members, Please note the following in light of today's provincial announcement: All Phase Two programming will remain on hold until at least the end of the extended shutdown period. For those that registered using the installment plan option, your second installment payment will not be processed at this time. The ORMHA Executive will continue to monitor the situation and will identify and process the relevant refunds for Phase Two once we have clarity regarding ou...r programming through to the end of March. Please also note that the refunds pertaining to our Phase One programming, as outlined in our earlier communication, will be processed shortly. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of the executive should you have any questions. Regards, The ORMHA Executive

To all ORMHA Families, The ORMHA Executive is closely following the recent announcement by Province, as well as the City's request for an exception to the 28-day province-wide shutdown. While we are certain that we will not be permitted to begin Phase Two on January 2nd as originally planned, we are also continuing to monitor the situation as it develops and will advise of a new start date once it is known. We continue to appreciate your ongoing patience as we navigate this ...season. Happy holidays! We're looking forward to seeing you back on the ice in 2021. The ORMHA Executive

To our ORMHA families, As many of you will have seen, schedules for this weekend have been posted as restrictions loosen and we move to resume programming with our previous groupings for levels U9 and up. U7 will resume Saturday November 14. Please be reminded of the following: ... - Change rooms are open for use, but only to their established capacity. Chairs will be placed outside the changerooms or in the lobbies for overflow. - Groups can arrive no more than 20 minutes prior to their ice time and must exit the building no more than 20 minutes after. - Participants are still encouraged to arrive fully dressed. - Any person who enters the facility must wear a mask and maintain a physical distance of at least 2 meters. Participants may remove masks while on the ice. - Covid pre-screen must be done prior to entering the rink, on the day of the activity. - One parent/guardian is permitted per player in the stands during the ice time. - Parents/Guardians should help their child get ready (as needed), exit the arena, and return when their child steps on the ice. After the ice time is over, they must exit as soon as possible (providing quick help if necessary). Thanks for your ongoing patience. We're excited to get back on the ice! Yours in hockey, The ORMHA Executive

To our ORMHA families, The ORMHA Executive reviewed with interest today’s release from the province regarding revised restrictions that are likely to take effect in Ottawa. We are waiting to receive clarification from both the City of Ottawa and HEO regarding the effects of this announcement on our hockey activities. Further communication will be sent to members as soon as it is available. Depending on the information received, members at most levels should be prepared for ic...e times possibly beginning as early as Saturday November 7. We thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding. Yours in hockey, ORMHA Executive
