Everyone is loving the new baby marmosets! 31/2 months old

This is the garbage I picked up in the parking lot this morning. I picked up a second pail of recycle. Please teach your children not to litter by not littering yourself. In this time of COVID 19, picking up other people’s garbage is stressful, and should be completely unnecessary.

First baby deer has been born! The zoo is open and so far no line ups. Monkey Mikes Munchies has been a hit, check out their menu ...it will be posted on their Facebook page

Welcome to our first mini horse baby, Bubba. Raven and Billy Bob are thrilled with their little boy

Our food vendor, Lionel, has retired, and we are welcoming Monkey Mike’s Munchies this year. He is going to be open zoo hours and will have delicious fresh coffee, and many yummy food options, breakfast- lunch items, to save you from stopping at timmies on your way! We are thrilled to announce that we are allowed to open this Friday! We have missed you! We are sad to announce that we have cancelled the chick pen and the corn machines for the immediate future to help protect people from COVID 19. We ask that all people attending respect social distancing,and have made that easier by adding a second entrance,and a separate exit to stop congestion. Those looking to get season passes can go to this link, https://oshawazoo.ca/season-pass-form....html, and fill out your pass info rather than filling it out here to speed up line ups. For your protection, we will be taking the time to sanitize the debit machine and counter between each family entrance, so please be patient as your health is important to us. We ask that ,if you have a sore throat or a fever ,that you stay home and come when you feel better. Be respectful of social distancing, and our staff. Thanks you, and see you soon. Everyone is as anxious as we are for the zoo to open but we have to wait for government permission and the GTA is still in phase 1. It looks like we will get to open on phase two, if is the same as outside the GTAs phase 2

Little Brown Cow had a little boy! Sorry I haven’t posted in a little while, but we have been very busy getting ready for the season. We are still waiting for permission to open, covid 19 is making us do some major changes to make the zoo safer for social distance. I’ll let everyone know when we can open
