This charming Christmas boutique was the work of Sharon Clark: long-time member and of Oshawa Community and our beloved friend. Sharon Clark passed away earlier this year. Sharon started the charity Sharon’s Kids in support of the Durham Children’s Aid Foundat...ion (DCAS) at the GM Oshawa Assembly plant in 1968. That first year they raised $24, (a lot of money for the time!!!) and at the height of the program they raised $51, 000 in support of DCAS. Even after retiring in 2014, her legacy continued to bring hope to local children in need. General Motors Canada is thrilled to donate for auction the last 7th generation Chevrolet Corvette and the first all-new 8th generation, mid-engine Corvette Stingray in support of Sharon’s Kids. Online bidding begins on October 21st through the end of the live auction on October 28th.
