Nothing wrong with ending the official West Coast Kart Club season off with a win! We had probably our worst qualifying session all year with our 4 drivers qualifying 5th, 10th, 13th and 16th. Made a few changes here and there, rolled the dice and came out with a win! Robbie Arthur taking home his 3rd win of the year, Rod Matthews finishing a respectable 6th place, Braydon Arthur and Braydon Otto driving their hardest to finish 8th and 10th. Thanks to everyone who supported us this year even though there was no spectators allowed due to COVID. Undefeated at Kartplex! This was our last time up at the track this year and what a fun few events it’s been up there. Robbie Arthur getting his 2nd win of the year, Rick Payne getting his first podium in Lo206 bringing home 3rd, Doug Litherland flipping the switch to go from 14th to 4th in the final, and a fantastic drive all weekend long with tons of improvement by Adriano Schiazza and Scott Arthur! Strong all weekend, came up a little short. Qualified 2nd, 3rd and 4th and we’re hoping for a win but ended up in the same position with 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Great drive from all three drivers Braydon Arthur, Rod Matthews and Doug Litherland! OSIF Racing also has its very first rotax driver being Braydon hopping in and running in the pack of 15 and finishing a very well done 7th place! Another weekend back at the home track with a pretty full grid of 17 drivers! Good pace from all our drivers Braydon Arthur, Rod Matthews, Cole Matthews and Doug Litherland. A wreck in the final caused Cole Matthews to flip the kart and land upside down, a very scary accident but we’re all glad to see him walk away with only minor bumps and bruises! After the restart Braydon Arthur charged from 13th all the way to finish 2nd place with Rod Matthews right behind him for 3rd! Great drive for Doug Litherland but some questionable blue flags on track set him back to 6th. Back in two weeks to try and lock out the podium this time! Great weekend with the team’s second time back to the KartPlex Facility up in Oliver, BC this past weekend! Probably our best weekend for experience as a team so far. Qualifying could’ve not have gone any better for us as we locked out the first 5 positions with Braydon Otto getting his first pole ever! Worked out some issues in the Heat race and Prefinal to come on strong in the final, Braydon Arthur found his groove and steamrolled his way to an 11 second lead by the end of... the race! Lightning fast father-son duo Rocket Rod Matthews and Cole Matthews finished 2nd and 3rd to round out the podium and another great drive from the back to the front in the final netted Doug Litherland another 4th place! Clean Sweep! Braydon Arthur took pole and led every lap from start to finish in the prefinal and the final to take his 2nd victory of the year! A hard drive from Doug Litherland and Rod Matthews to finish 4th and 5th and unfortunately some motor issues for Robbie Arthur and Rick Payne and tough luck yet again for Cole Matthews, but soon enough a podium will come for him! A weekend filled with high’s for most but also some low’s for drivers, overall this was probably our best race weekend yet for driver improvement. The Vemme Kart’s were incredibly quick all day long, giving everyone a chance to be upfront. Braydon Arthur almost qualified on pole, Rick Payne led a few laps in the prefinal, Cole Matthews set his personal best time, We took two spots on the podium with Doug Litherland finishing his highest ever position 2nd place only .4 off the win, and Rod Matthews finishing 3rd with his first Podium! Back to back Race Weekends for us, but this time with it being our first visit up at the KartPlex Facility in Oliver, BC. Very well done facility with a flowing track with lots of elevation changes and was a blast to race on! We struggled with a few mechanical issues here and there during the weekend but got the job done on Sunday with our 3rd podium lock out ever with Robbie Arthur, Braydon Otto and Doug Litherland finishing 1-2-3! Our other driver Rick Payne despite being over 30lbs overweight, hung right in there and brought home a well fought 6th place for the team. Only a couple weeks until we are back at it at the home track in Chilliwack, and always a big thanks to our sponsors VemmeKart, Martins Action Photography and Liqui Moly. @ Kartplex Racing

First Race Weekend of 2020 and we finished it on the top step! Great win by Braydon Arthur. Huge improvements in pace from Doug Litherland, Rod Matthews and Cole Matthews, soon enough they’ll be upfront battling for the win aswell. New team driver Rick Payne was a last minute entry for our team and showed good pace to work with in the future. Now we’re off to Kartplex in Oliver this upcoming weekend for their first club race. Hot practice with the temperature hovering around 30 degrees this past weekend! The team bought a new to us 2019 Vemme 2 stroke chassis with a Senior Rotax Motor to help us upgrade our program. Time for more testing and finding a driver for this beast for the 2021 season. @ Greg Moore Raceway
