I know I am creating a tattoo shop that is more conscious of the healing properties we get through this sacred art and wellness . One of my best friend tattooer - healer in this world sent me those words today . Embracing our individuality is key ! ... It s totally awesome to be a punk rock . Be YOUR own punk rock and rock and roll . I find our industry to be very judgmental, conformist and rigid. I laughed when I went to my first convention.. It was supposed to be all these people artistically expressing themselves.. On the fringe of society.. Carving our ways... And everybody looked the same.. Acted the same... It felt like going to punk rock shows when I was younger and everyone was trying so hard to fit in. Let s be the change we all need moving forward with our our industries . Love to all
