Rusty has so much to be thankful fur today!Furst up, he wants to thank our generous friends at Wholesale Club in Pembroke for donating over $200 through their Give a Little program(it helped us purchase new heating pads for the kitties to snuggle with ....to help them be as comfy as possible!) ... oh and last but not least Rusty has been adopted and headed home right after this video!! What a great day, and great community, so much to be thankful for!!

We Remember! This Remembrance Day join us in supporting our veterans while honoring the wartime contributions of animals, with the purchase of our new Animals in War pin. A pigeon has been chosen as this year’s symbol to represent all animals who have bravely served. Pigeons have such a strong homing instinct that some carried messages back from war zones on foot when they could no longer fly. To order your Animals in War pin, visit ontariospca.ca/remember, or call 1-888-668-7722 ext. 360. Funds from the sale of the pin help provide care for animals in need, as well as support our veterans. Due to the global pandemic, in 2020, $2.50 from each pin sold will be donated to Royal Canadian Legion branches across Ontario.
