Jordan, aka @crohnsveteran talks crohns and tattoos: I got my first tattoo because of Crohn's disease. It was Japanese Kanji. I got it the day after my 18th bday and it says (I think lol) "Good Fortune". The emergency colon resection and appendix removal experiences when I was 14 left me thinking the pain of getting a tattoo was not a big deal anymore.... I've gotten another 14 or 15 tattoos since then over the years. I also had my ileum and 18 inches of my colon removed in 2009. The overall theme of my tattoos is protection, reflection and empowerment. I still plan on getting more work done too if the opportunity presents itself. Sending good vibes and good health! . . . #FeatureFriday #OstomyToronto #crohnsdisease #crohnsveteran #Tattoos #crohnswarrior #FF #Feature #Ostomy #Toronto See more

Ostomy Toronto urgently requires volunteers to help fill open Director and Officer positions. These positions need to be filled not only to maintain our status as a registered charity, but to also continue offering programs such as monthly meetings, guest speakers, and newsletters, our recently updated website, and our social media. We hope we aren’t forced to cancel some, or all of these programs. Please contact President Jim Fitzgerald at 647-570-4329 or [email protected]. Please feel free to share this post. We appreciate your help! #Volunteer #VolunteerToronto #Ostomy #OstomyToronto #CallForVolunteers #OstomyAwareness

An honest post from Ginger aka @gingipie.sky: We define ourselves by our flaws, don’t we. We put ourselves down because of them. ... As many as I have, I’m starting to feel more flawless than flawed though. That’s self love. That’s evolution. That’s the way it should be. #ostomy #scars #dermatitis #sweets #abcsess #crohns #colitis #postpartumdepression #keloids #ostomytoronto #featurefriday #flawsarebeautiful #selflove #flawless
