Tim's COVID Concert #8 - This is his last one, so I'll also make it a Tim Tribute Monday. My Baby Bro, as he said, he wasn't perfect, but he was loving and kind and he was always trying to be better. Watching him and listening to him is so hard, but comforting at the same time. As he says in his message to Keir, and to the rest of us, at the end of this video, let's "carry each other" through these difficult times and keep the love and the music flowing #loveliveson #keepingthemusicgoing #heaintheavyhesmybrother - Helen Norman-Schoorl

Tim's COVID concert #7 - This one's for Luc! A year later, Tim's words still ring true, "Be good, be healthy, and love one another!" Even when he was confined to his attic, lonely for his friends, and struggling to take care of his aging and unwell parents, Tim was looking forward to the future when we could all be together. Even when we are struggling with the latest lockdown, longing to be together, and getting frustrated with the uncertainty, let's remember to be kind and love one another! #tbthursday #keepingthemusicgoing #loveoneanother

Tim's COVID Concert #5 - Happy April Fool's Day! This one is dedicated to me (Helen Norman-Schoorl) An Otis Strange original, about a man (Tim) who is one beer short of a six-pack...it was my job to bring him that beer at the end of the song! Hope you're enjoying a Canadian and "Yabba dabba doing!!", Baby Bro

Tim's COVID concert #4 - This one's a little early, but I wanted to save the April 1st one for the actual day, and I thought we could all use the reminder that "Every little thing's gonna be alright, yeah" #tbtuesday Tim, channelling Bob Marley

In April of 2020, Ottawa singer Tim Schoorl tragically passed away in a Britannia house fire. The song he sang in his last video, written decades ago, was intended to be about Schoorl's carefree days of youth. But now his band surprisingly realizes the song is actually about the days after Schoorl's passing, and people are discovering that the video is extremely beautiful. Here it is...

In April of 2020, Canadian singer Tim Schoorl of Ottawa tragically passed away in a house fire, in the usually quiet neighbourhood of Britannia. Schoorl’s parents and his little dog were also victims of the fire. A song Schoorl sang in his band’s last video, written decades ago, was intended to be about his carefree days of youth. But now his band surprisingly realizes the song is actually about the days after Schoorl's passing, and people are discovering that the video is extremely beautiful. Here it is...

It’s Tim Tribute Monday! Rather than post an episode, this Monday we’d like to share with you an MP3 of the credits music featured in our ‘Three Sheets’ video that we will release next Monday Dec 28. This sister song, created from the bridge of ‘Three Sheets’ is called ‘I’ve Been Searching’. Hope you like it! Big thanks to Eric Eggleston from Johnny Hall Productions who produced our music and video.
