Introducing Greig’s Gaming Pentathlon! In honour of OtonaCon’s Fifth Anniversary we will be running a five game tournament including five of Greig’s favourite games! Up to sixteen people can compete for the Grand Prize and being etched into the annals of history forever! The games for the Inaugural Greig’s Gaming Pentathlon will be Qwixx, Karuba, Dominion, Tumblin’ Dice, and Ticket to Ride: Europe. These games will not be taught at OtonaMiniCon, however, they will be available in the library prior to the event. This event will take place between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. A week ago today the fourth OtonaCon finished up after three days of glorious gaming! Thank you all for coming out and making this year a fantastic event. I truly enjoyed myself and loved seeing returning attendees and new attendees at the event and look forward to making more memories with each of you in the future! Thank you to my Mom, Irene, for running the front desk for Friday and Saturday, allowing me to mingle, teach games, and run a tournament.... Thank you to Paige, Sara, and Ryan, for all of your help this past year, acting as a sounding board for me, giving me great feedback and input, and keeping me balanced. Thanks to Holiday Inn Peterborough-Waterfront for hosting us again this year. We are already looking forward to our next event there. Thank you to Dueling Grounds for coming out for Saturday and Sunday to sell games, as well as your donations to the Door Prize and the Library. Thank you to ÎLO307 for your sponsorship of the 7 Wonders tournament and Play to Win titles. The tournament went really well!
