The 2017 July Afternoon Summer Camp was once again a great success with several new and returning campers. Many campers started the morning with the OCSB Mandarin language class with teacher Ms. Shelly Dollard (), followed by the OMS Afternoon Summer Camp with teacher Ms. Alice Liang () and other volunteers. Together they had fun-filled afternoons with activities such as cooking, arts & crafts, movie times, and sports. The 2017 August Day Camp was also a great succe...ss, thanks especially to the talented Diabolo and Dance teachers from Taiwan. Although there were only 4 full-days of camp, all of the campers put together a wonderful performance for their family and friends on the last day. They also took home handmade toys and crafts that they made during the camp. A huge thank you goes to teacher Ms. Alice Liang for planning, organizing, and managing the two camps. Appreciations also go to Ms. Shelly Dollard and the volunteers (Agus Liang, Yo-yo Yang, I-Hsiu Lin, Pei-Ying Hu, Spring Hsieh, and Quantum Hu, etc. ) for their time in making these wonderful camps. Thanks also go to the Ottawa Catholic School Board for their partnership and providing the use of the school. More importantly, we thank the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada (TECO) and the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) (OCAC) for their sponsorship and continued support for the event.
