We are tremendously grateful to the Cowan Foundation for their support of this initiative which will give youth interested in Information Communication Technology an opportunity to be mentored by members in the field. We are so honoured to have had Cowan Foundation President Heather McLaughlin along with Debra Murphy from FrankCowan Co & Deana Maric from Cowan Insurance join us for this special occasion. As CEO of the Club Casa de los Abuelos, an entirely volunteer-based organization that has been operating since 2004, Ana Maria is an influential member of the Spanish and immigrant communities here in Ottawa. Her organization provides an extensive range of programs, including: assistance with housing, translation services, support for medical and hospital appo...intments, seminars on healthy eating for healthy living, recreational and socialization activities, dedicated assistance for seniors, and more. Immigration and senior’s affairs are something that people of all ages should be aware about, a...nd this is a valuable chance to ask questions in an intimate and unfiltered environment! Ana Maria will be speaking on these topics, and others. She has a fascinating story and is very knowledgeable, so please join her for what is to be a fantastic evening!
