Proactive Education for All Children's Enrichment(PEACE) in partnership with Ontario Government will be arranging a Youth leadership activity for children at the Sandy Hill Community Centre. This event will be offered, "Free of Charges". The ones participating will have the opportunity to learn about multiculturalism, and diversity. We are looking for 15 to 20 children. The date for the workshop will be November 25th(Sunday), between 2pm-5pm. Light refreshments will be served... to the participants. As part of this activity, the participants will get an opportunity to attend two workshops followed by a "Celebratory Event" where they would showcase a language tree that they will prepare in groups. After completing this activity all the participants will be given a certificate for participation and voluntary work. This initiative is offered by PEACE, to allow children in the community to enhance their understanding on linguistic diversity an essential component for social cohesion and Canadian diversity. Program at Gurdwara Sahib - Wednesday Nov 7th, 2018 Evening 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM We will start Rehraas Shib Paath at 5:30 followed by Kirtan by Sangar and Kirtan School children for an hour, followed by Kirtan by Bhai Surjit Singh - Janak Singh ji and then Kirtan by visiting Ragi Jathaa of Bhai Verjinder Singh Khalsa. ... OC Transpo employees are doing langar Seva for these celebrations. Guru's Blessings and our sincere thanks to them. Langar, Tea, sweets and snacks will be served in both Langar hall AND Heritage Hall.
