We are thrilled to announce the launch of our food ordering and delivery store: Kouzina Ottawa! Being the Greek word for 'kitchen', Kouzina is our way of bringing authentic Greek meals to your home all year ‘round! Because as Greek Canadians, one of our favourite things in life is also the simplest: sitting down at the kitchen with our loved ones for a warm meal. Meals are prepared frozen and available for pick-up or delivery. They’re group sizes that feed 6-8 people. As we ...move forward, we’re excited to expand and evolve the menu and incorporate more of your GreekFest favourites as well as new flavours. And that’s a wrap on GreekFest at Home! What an unbelievable ride it was. When COVID-19 hit, we really had no idea what shape GreekFest would take this year - or if it would even happen at all. But we knew we wanted to do something that would help support our Greek Community, while at the same time, giving you an opportunity to experience our culture, albeit in a different way. We weren't sure what the response would be. Maybe some of our loyal customers would show up to supp...ort us. Maybe a couple of people would tune in to our live-stream events. Who knew, really? The answer: an UNBELIEVABLE response from all of you. Line-ups down the back of the building. Lamb selling out in record time. Over 14,000 views of our live-stream Zorba Shows and cooking demos! Greeks tend to have lots to say, but in this instance, we don't have the proper words to express our gratitude for the support you've shown us. It was a new system for us, and we know it wasn't perfect at times, but we were committed to improving every step of the way. "We are just thankful that you were able to find a way to share your Greek culture with us during this challenging time." This is what we heard time and time again from so many of you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do so. And most importantly, thank you to all of our unsung heroes our volunteers for dedicating their time and energy to ensure the Festival was a success. Simply put: without them, there is no GreekFest. Thank you, Ottawa. .
