Hi everyone, GM Sunny Tang has confirmed the restaurant for his birthday dinner. Please distribute the information below to anyone who I've missed. Dinner to celebrate Grandmaster Sunny Tang’s 71st birthday... Saturday, Sept 9 at the Scarborough School o Regular classes from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. All students are welcome to attend. o At 4:00 pm, a free mini-seminar will be held to review the latest updates to the weapon forms. This is NOT to teach a new weapon form. It will only benefit students who already know the forms and is intended to help everyone perform them the same way. Saturday, Sept 9 at Grandeur Palace Banquet Restaurant located at 2301 Brimley Road, Scarborough. o The cost is $55 per person. To reserve your seats or an entire table of 10, you can pay me cash or send an e-transfer to me at [email protected]. Please provide the names of everyone in your group so I can create the seating plan. If you wish to sit close to other students, I will do my best to accommodate your request. o The deadline to book your seats is Sunday, Aug 27. o Reception is at 6:30 pm. o Dinner is at 8:00 pm. o Casual attire is OK.

Our sister club in Carp will hold its annual BBQ on Saturday August 5th . It will start at 1 pm and continue till it's over .... The venue is 108 Glennview Place in Carp (my home). Weather permitting bring your swimsuits . Hamburgers and sausages will be provided so if you wish to bring a salad or dessert please feel free . Please bring your beverage of choice and a lawn chair . For those wishing to bring a tent and use the the area in front of the club as a campground with washroom facilities located in the club .
