It has been a difficult decision to make, but it has also been a necessary one. Effective March 23, 2020 and until April 5, 2020, our facilities will be temporarily closed to allow our Team, our clients, and our families the opportunity to take care of one another during these unusual times we find ourselves in. With Team members who are considered within the vulnerable health risk categories, we felt it was important to ensure their safety while also ensuring the safety and... health of our clients. Given these circumstances, we chose to close temporarily Mar 23 - Apr 5, 2020 and resume normal operations as of 7 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our tentative re-open date dependent upon the situation, and we will do our utmost to resume normal operations as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this presents, and for the decision we have had to make to ensure the safety and well-being of our Team, families, and valued clients. Please, stay safe. ** NOTE: Please be aware, our parking lot area may still require us to restrict client's entry into our Bay door areas Monday, August 12, 2019, due to re-paving taking longer than was anticipated due to rain delays. Please call our office (613) 836-0554 beforehand to confirm we can accept your deliveries at our Bays. We will do our utmost to accommodate all our valued customers, but we may not be able to accept vehicular traffic just yet. Items that do not require Fork Lif...t or truck delivery might be possible to accommodate. But, please call our office first to confirm. Thank you for your understanding and again, we apologize for this unfortunate inconvenience that has been beyond our control. Due to scheduled building maintenance, the Ottawa Powder Coating facilities will be closed for business Monday, Jan 20, 2020. Maintenance requires the facilities to be shut down while the work is completed. We will re-open again for regular normal business hours again on Tues, Jan 21, 2020. Our OFFICE HOURS will be adjusted to accommodate resurfacing of our parking lot this coming week. We will be OPEN for regular business Monday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 6, but we will be CLOSED Wednesday, August 7 through to the end of day Friday, August 9, as our parking area is dug up and resurfaced with new asphalt. We sincerely regret the inconvenience this may cause all our valued clients. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may pose to... you. But, we will be open and ready for business as usual again on Monday, August 12, 2019, with a fresh, smooth parking lot to accommodate your arrival with nary a pothole in sight! As we prepare to step away from the office during the upcoming holidays, the OPC Team wants to take this time to thank you, our amazing clients, for your fantastic patronage this past year! Our Office will close at NOON on Dec 24, 2019, and re-open again for regular business hours on Jan 2, 2020, at 7 a.m. Our Team has been kept hopping through 2019, and our shop has seen some pretty unique items come through its doors. It's been a year of growth, change, and also the unexp...ected. One of the most significant surprising things to happen was the health concerns of Ottawa Powder Coating's President and owner, Kent Schroeder. Kent was diagnosed in November with Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Although it was a shock to his family, in true Kent fashion, he paused for only a moment to ponder the issue, and then he hit the ground ready to tackle the beast we've since nicknamed "C-Monster." Dec 23-24th is Kent's 2nd round of treatment, and can we just say, he's definitely GOT THIS! After his first treatment in November, the Doctors have seen results they say they've never seen before & never expected! His red blood cell count & lymph nodes are again back in the NORMAL range after having been in the low range for months, and he is gaining weight so well that round 2's chemo treatment had to be adjusted because his weight gain has been excellent and an adjustment to account for it was required! We are thrilled with the results Kent is having, and the "C-Monster" is definitely on the run! So, we are looking forward to more amazing results in 2020 for Kent and his continuing improved health and eviction of cancer! We are also looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2020! May your Christmas bring you all the joy, laughter, peace, and contentment that you desire and may 2020 be your BEST year YET! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
