Last week I made my very own Sage Sticks for smudging. The Sage and Rosemary I used came from my own garden which made the creating process even more meaningful. My garden receives a lot of love from me and this is the perfect example of it giving back Why burn Sage?... Wanted a sweet snack after dinner last night so I whipped this up!! It hit the spot #guiltfree You can top this off with anything you like.... Ingredients 1 cup unsweetened almond milk you can use any non-dairy milk you like... 3 tbsp chia seeds 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (you can order supplements online @nutrizone_ca - they deliver extra fast!! 1.5 tbsp cacao powder 1 tbsp maple syrup Instructions Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds until completely smooth. Homemade vegan pizza for the win This was stupid easy. All you need is 1 large pita bread ... Pizza sauce Shredded non dairy cheese Any vegetable you desire (I sautéed my veg for a few mins in a pan then I top the pizza with it). I choose to make mine with Peppers, mushrooms, red onion, asparagus, sundried tomatoes and chilli flakes. This bad boy needs just a few mins in the oven to melt that cheese. I put it on broil and keep an eye out Fun to make, tons of different possibilities for toppings, fun to eat and healthy too!!!

Killer meal today Chickpea pasta with sundried tomatoes, vegan Alfredo sauce, and grilled asparagus You can use any pasta for this but I prefer the healthier options which is usually made from beans, lentils, or chickpeas..... ... Sweet Potato: Wash your potato, poke it with a knife 8 times, coat it with olive oil and place it in the oven at 425 for 1 hr ... Stuffing: Chickpeas, black bean, broccoli, onion & red pepper (use what veg you have in the fridge). Toss it all in a little olive oil s&p and lay it out in a pan in the oven @ 425 for 45 mins Sauce: vegan mayo, garlic hummus, olive oil , sriracha, lemon, water and s&p you can play with the ratios just watch it with the water.. I feel full and I feel good about it :D Asian Inspired General Tao Stir Fry with marinated Tofu on coconut rice I love this because its pretty simple ... Rice- Cook rice in coconut milk instead of water. Season with S&P Veg- Fry the veg and add the sauce (make you own or buy a pre made one from any grocery store) I used general tao. For the veg I used snap peas, asparagus, broccoli, and red + yellow peppers but you can use what ever you have or want. Tofu- I marinated the tofu in a Korean sauce but you can use more general tao sauce or just fry it with lots of salt, pepper, garlic and oil (preferably sesame). Cook until browned. Today’s Anywhere Body Weight Workout #16 2 Parts 1st Part... 30 EMOM 30 minutes of every minute on the minute Minute 1 - 5/side Curtsy Lunge criss cross (rest for remainder of the min). Minute 2 - Bear Hold for 30 seconds with shoulder tap (very controlled don’t wave your butt around , rest for the remainder of the min) Minute 3 - Side Lunge Side kick 5/side (rest for the remainder of the min). Keep alternating exercises through the 30 minutes (at #4 you do the same as min 1...). Incase you still don’t understand... If you do the 5 curtsy lunges per side in 40 seconds then you have 20 seconds rest until you start the next exercises on the next min. Same rules apply for the other exercises. 2nd Part Abs!!!! One long sequence of: * 15-second plank jacks * 15-second rest * 30-second plank open on one arm * 30-second rest * 45-second elevator plank * 45-second rest * 60-second plank lunge * 60-second rest * Max effort regular elbow plank * 60-second rest * Max effort regular elbow plank *FORM is everything so as soon as you break form STOP. Remember that score and beat it next time *SQUEEZE YOUR BUTT the whole time. It protects your spine. Keep your shoulders away from your ears and push your elbows into the floor. Alright get off your asses!! Anywhere Body Weight Workout #15 START THE CLOCK and let it run until you’re done!! ... "Death by Burpees" is a by-the-minute interval challenge. In the first minute, you complete one burpee. In the second minute, you do two in the 6th mins you do 6 and so on. ... until you cannot complete the required burpee amount in a minute. The first like 6 mins you’re laughing because you have so much rest but don’t let that fool you because you will be running out of time later on to get in the required amount of burpees for that round.
