Would you like to have a voice on the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School Council? Please see the note in the photo below. All are welcome!

Good Afternoon, Your attention is required for this very important safety concern. End of Day Dismissal Safety... It is imperative that if you are picking up your child at the end of the day, that you pick up in the designated parent pick up area. Students will not be allowed to cross through the staff parking lot at the front of the school, to meet a parent pick up on Prentice Ave. Everyone must play a part in making dismissal as safe as possible. As per the Algoma Public Health and Ministry guidelines, we need to continue to practice social distancing, and avoid congregating in groups in the school yard as you wait for your child. In addition, to keep the parent pick up area safe, once you have your child, please move your vehicle so other parents may be able to pick up their child as well. Lastly, due to the large volume of traffic on Doncaster Road, we do not want the children walking along the road or crossing Doncaster, to meet their end of day pick up. It simply is too dangerous. Our primary goal is to maintain the safety of the children. Therefore we are asking for you to make your way to the school yard, if you are parked on the road, to meet your child. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation, as we all have a role in maintaining a healthy, safe environment at Our Lady of Lourdes.

We are so proud of one of our Lourdes Lions!!! Cash Lajoie has been riding his bike in ‘The Great Bucket List Cycle’, a fundraiser in support of ARCH Hospice. He has surpassed his original goal of $2,500 and is approaching $6,000. The link to his campaign can be found in the article below.
