My dear parishioners! Viva Cristo Rey! As you’ve heard from Dr. Bonnie Henry, the Church will be closed for Masses for at least two weeks (November 19th December 7th). It’s unfortunate that we have to cancel Mass as it’s important to all of us --- it’s our viaticum, our food for the journey --- but we have to follow this new public health order implemented by our province.... Since we can’t gather for Mass this weekend, I will be giving communion to parishioners who would like to receive communion in the parking lot between the Church and the school. It will take place after you watch and participate in our livestreaming Sunday Mass at 10am. If you’ve been to virtual/online Mass already or watched it on TV and would like to receive Holy Communion, you may also come. As a respect and reverence for the Eucharist, please make sure that you’ve been to Mass online. I will be giving communion until 11:30am. Do remember to wear a mask. Dont forget that its Mary's Pantry Sunday! Please bring your non perishable food items to mass with you if you can, the food banks are stretched beyond their limits right now so any little bit helps. God Bless! If you arent attending mass but still would like to donate you can bring your items and drop them off before the masses begin. Tomorrow there is a 9, 11 and 5pm mass at the church.
