This is our ‘Dutchess’ our Ranch dog, and her idea of helping Amy remove the flowers from the flower beds before winter Great help! Our Staff is always ‘All hands on deck’ so this morning Amy our Receptionist & Kathy our Communications Coordinator took on the great outdoors to help out. Today is the last Day Trip visit of our 2018 season! Our most sincere thanks to our OLQP North Summer Staff, Volunteers, Supporters and of course the thousands of children from Agencies & Organizations who visit the Ranch. We’ve had a tiny intruder chewing on the freshly painted Ranch Office and our community friend set up a Trail Cam and discovered this sharp guy! He has since moved on to a better location in the forest.

Based on the poor air quality Edmonton is currently experiencing, and for the safety of the children who visit, we have been forced to halt all Day Trips to the Ranch for the day. Thank-you for your understanding and again our positive thoughts to British Columbia.

Thank-you to Highland Park Equestrian for their generous donation of 15 square hay bales for our Karma’s Corral Petting Zoo! It’s so delicious that the ‘Squirt’ the goat jumps right into the buffet! Highland Park Equestrian, located 20 minutes East of Sherwood Park, is an all-season horse boarding & training facility catering to owners of all breeds, complete with full access riding and training coupled with on-site, experienced care.

Very eerie morning here at the Ranch. We send positive thoughts to our friends in Alberta & British Columbia who are challenged by fires in their communities.
