Oh but it has been a week or so!..It is incredible how much can be accomplished..rain or shine..peace by piece. This particular week has been so rewarding..Our ...big Warba harvest happened..we have 'new potatoes' by the pound upon pound. So light and fresh..soo very delicious. Bed preparation and transplanting have both been strong themes..alongside weeding, and I am happy to report that our squash beds are ready as well as most of the 7 of our melon beds! Next week, the new students arrive, and we interns start taking on the task of developing our own plots..The work is heavy, but the rewards are many..and they run deep..See you at the market tomorrow maybe!..Come on out for tiny taters if nothing else!..They are a true seasonal delicacy!..:D See more
