Happy Valentine's Day from Riley World!

It's been a while. Riley's mouth was in bad shape for the last 10 days or so I have been going easy on him. ;) This soup was recommended by a couple of "Club" members so I've been anxiously waiting for his mouth to get better to try it on/with him. G & I would rate this in our top 3 soups. Riley...welllll....... A few things to note. ... 1) The soup was cooled first because I knew he would power through it. 2) He didn't gag, dry heave or bang the table so BONUS! 3) The speed at which he eats is relative to his like/dislike of something. I'll let you guess whether or not he liked the soup. This may look exactly like the video from a week ago...but it was taken today. I'm on a roll to get R back into homemade soups. On today's menu was a Cauliflower Cheese cream soup (aka "Carrot" soup in Riley World). His furrowed brow pretty much says it all. Lucky for him, I was also underwhelmed so he's off the hook this time. #LifeWithAutism #OperationIFO

Not one but TWO miracles happened today in Riley World! First...he came down wearing a new t-shirt which usually means the old one has been shredded to pieces. When I asked he said it was in his drawer and lo and behold...it was still in one piece and he said I could throw it away. Second...the new "different" Canucks pajamas made an appearance for his Zoom call today. He couldn't wait to show his friends. He took them off immediately afterwards but I'm still calling it a w...in! #LifeWithAutism #MiraclesDoHappen

UPDATE: It's been a week and still no sign of Riley wearing his new "different" Canucks pajamas. I have a glimmer of hope they will make an appearance because today he mentioned wearing them to show his friends when he starts back on Monday. #LifeWithAutism

Riley wants nothing to do with HIS phone when he is at home. Mine?? As soon as I woke up this morning... R: Auntie Sharon texted me!! *in his excited voice* Me: She did? About what?? R: ....... Christmas.... Me: Were you looking at my phone again? R: Yes. She didn't texted me. FYI...the text came in at 6:23am and by "Christmas" she is referring to #12DrinksOfChristmasChallenge #LifeWithAutism
