Walking around the yard today after the rain. Strawberry plants are blooming as well as our blueberries, have to get them netted before they start to fruit. I Love watching things grow.

Our family tradition continues, meet our fourth generation. We start them young lol. Today we loaded our shovels buckets and off we go to get our garlics or ramps as alot of ppl know them as. Before you ask no sorry we do not sell them! Did you know that it takes 5-7 years for garlics to grow from seed and 3-5 years from bulblets. We only pick what we need , enough to last the season. Quebec passed a law that your only allowed 50 bulbs per person per year as there is a ...shortage because they take so long to reproduce. I see ALOT of ppl selling them on line i hope they really know all the ins and outs like if you pick buckets of them make sure they dont sit to long because they go bad quickly change the water every day, Ours are done in a day our family goes out digs them up, all sit around the table at my mom and dads eat some lunch as you can see on my grandsons face lol and dad starts washing them down and ash my mom and myself we all start cleaning As dad cracks a beer and starts supervising lol then wash again and preserve them a full day of work. Seb and Brook play with the little monsters. I LOVE our family traditions we keep it our own little circle a full day of laughs and making memories that can be passed on from generation to generation. See more

OUR LITTLE SECRET PIZZA SAUCE 1 tin 156 ml of tomato paste 1 can 680 ml tomato sauce 2 cloves garlic minced... 2 tsp italian seasonings 1 1/2 tsp sugar 1 tsp basil 1 1/2 tsp fresh oregano 1/2 tsp black pepper mince the garlic very tiny as this sauce will not be cooked. mix together and your ready to go. As easy as that.

Our Little Secret Kitchen Quarantine PIZZA PARTY W/ my grandson Leo FRIDAY JAN 8th parents you will need to prep a couple hours a head. ... you will need : DOUGH: yeast,flour,salt,sugar and oil SAUCE: tomato paste,tomato sauce,italian seasoning,garlic,sugar,salt,basil OR YOU CAN BUY IT LOL DONT FORGET YOUR CHOICE OF TOPPINGS to make the dough add 2 1/2 cups of warm water roughly 110 deg 2 tsp yeast 1 tsp sugar give a quick whisk wait 5-10 mins until it blooms this step is basically to make sure your yeast is alive. add 5 cups of flour and kneed 10 mins place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 1 hour.
