Friends of Waterloo Park

Responding to ongoing concerns about proper distancing in Waterloo Park, we are closing vehicular access to the park. Walk/bike/roll through access remains open.... Emergency vehicles will also have access, but cars in WP parking lots can be ticketed. Thanks for your continued support in staying close to home and avoiding trips to busier destination areas. The boardwalk around the lake in Waterloo Park was damaged following the extreme rainfall a couple weeks ago. We barricaded and signed the area, but people have been going around the fencing to access the boardwalk. Please don't do this, the area is unsafe.
