Waterfront Toronto has dropped the proposal for a Water Taxi and Sea Bus to our basin. Thanks to everyone who responded to the survey and voiced out united opinion. "We will be removing this node from consideration in the final Marine Use Strategy. We we will also remove both the Cherry Beach (M6) and the Tommy Thompson (M9) nodes from the final report."

The Rat Spit gap is presently above water, and the Lake Ontario water levels are the lowest since November, 2018, they are forecast to rise, beginning about now. One might assume from this chart that 2021 Lake Ontario water levels will be at or near 2019 levels.
