Dryden Forest Management Company (DFMC) and Domtar have been incredible supporters of the Outland Youth Employment Program for many years now. Sandbar youth were so lucky to have been able to participate in a tour of their forestry operations and Fenwick Chipping’s chipper. We had a great day! Dave from DFMC and Amy from Domtar taught the youth how to survey a forest, determine how old a tree is, gave the Rangers a tour of the chipper and brought them to a planted block to se...e the regrowth of the forest.
