Hi folks! In collaboration with the Campus Women's Centre and Lethbridge Pride Fest, OUTreach is hosting a vigil outside of city hall for Trans Day of Remembrance. We invite community members who would like a chance to speak on the issue of transphobia, violence, and lost members of our community to contact the Women's Centre. We are ensuring that space is made for individuals who have stories and remembrances. We ask that attendants follow proper PPE and social distancing procedures. We also ask all those who attend to conduct themselves respectfully. This is a day to honor those we have lost and acknowledge the impact of transphobia, colonialism, white supremacy, and heteronormativity on the trans+ community. We ask simply that everyone conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

Intersex Day Of Remembrance is also known as Intersex Awareness Day. Today is a day to acknowledge the struggles of intersex folx.
