We are very excited to announce that our short film VIOLENCE has officially wrapped. The past 3 days of shooting this film were absolutely some of the best Over Black has ever had. A huge thank you to our incredible actors and crew who came out, worked hard, and braved this crazy weather to help make this insane little flick. It means more to us than you could possibly imagine and we are so grateful to have had as many wonderful people helping make this movie the best it could be. You are all next level. P.S. Over black is proud to announce that casting has begun on Violence. Violence is a short film, written and directed by two of OB's founders, Connor Marsden and Devin Myler. It takes place in the punk rock-infused drug underworld of Toronto. We'll be sure to keep you updated on its progress over the next several months, as well as the releases of a few other Over Black titles, such as Plastic, and Skeletons.... Remember, all the best movies open over black.

Hey friends, The Toronto Afterdark film festival short films list is out, and unfortunately PLASTIC did not make the cut. As disappointed as we are, we look forward to submitting the film to other festivals and getting audiences in front of it. We love the film and we think you will to. We'd like to send a big congrats to our director Jeff Hanley, director of photography Fraser Brown, and star Brandon Coffey, for having their film "Birthday Pictures" chosen as the closing night short to play the festival. It's a twisted little flick, and we can't wait to see it on the big screen. Over Black is currently working on a few bold, new, things and we are excited to share them with you in the coming months. Keep your specs on, and thank you for all the support.
