Boomer Overland 11.10.2020

Hi, Welcome to our new Boomer Overland Facebook Page, We are just a normal Canadian couple just entering our boomer years, who enjoy overland trips throughout all of Canada, but based on the east coast. We simply thrive when out in the peaceful wilderness, the two of us, alone with nature, in what I have learned is part of :Forest Bathing". After much encouragement we decided to film and keep track of our adventures through pictures, videos and story telling We enjoy the simp...le things in life, and we have traveled off the beaten path all over Canada, across each province and territory primarily in an off road vehicle with or with out a base camp trailer. Part of this exploration is extensive hiking, kayaking and canoeing. A typical non-overland weekend is to jump in the trusty Chevy ZR2, head out to the nearest non-pavement road, armed with hiking gear, a portable barbecue and rations for 2 days. We mainly focus on Canada as a whole, as even after 40 years of exploring we feel we have just scratched the surface of all the wonders wilderness Canada has to offer. There are so many other Canadians and Americans starting to see the benefits of experiencing the great outdoors, that mother nature provides us in North America, we are extremely lucky in every-way. By starting this new Facebook page and other social media sites, we hope to share our experiences with other like minded people, to learn from you and hopefully we can help others who are just getting started. We are just getting Boomer Overland warmed up, with many more stories and picture/videos to come. Nick & Tina
