The use of electric vehicles will cost NF Ratepayers about $1500 a year to subsidize the $500 worth of power. The Consumer Advocate must address this problem, or resign.
There is enough money sitting in NL retirees' accounts to buy back Muskrat Falls, and pay ourselves, instead of the banks. Why won't the gov't look at that option? I'm willing to put money in.
It's time to think outside the Muskrat Falls Banker's Box.
I am willing to give the government $100,000 today, towards the capital cost of the Muskrat Falls Power House.
In my proposal to gov't. I defined Power House as "dams, control structures, turbines, generators, and building, up to the point where the conductors exit through the bushings." $5 Billion is more than enough to offer for that much of the project. I hope Dwight Ball is not about to add $500 million to the PowerHouse cost, with the silly methyl mercury vegetation removal. Call... that what it is...baksheesh. Forty years ago, when Churchill watered up one would think there would be a generation of Labradorians dead from methyl mercury, by now. It hasn't happened. Not a single case has presented at Grenfell Health. Methyl mercury has been used as a scare tactic, to leverage baksheesh, from every hydro project in North America for the last sixty years. It's time the bleeding stopped, and Nfld ratepayers presented some firm ideas for this project, which is going to cost us dearly. See more
