Oxbow Swimming Pool

The Swimming Pool was in receipt of grants this year that helped our operations immensely in this very odd year. Thanks very much to Vermillion Energy for sponsoring Wednesday afternoon public swimming ($1,500). Thank you to SPRA and the Sask Lotteries Corporation for sponsoring training upgrades for our guards ($585).... Thank you to the Town of Oxbow through the Sask Municipal Economic Enhancement Program for funding for shade sails which you will see next season ($12,000).

Sunday, August 23 to Sunday, August 30 will be the last full week of regular hours at the pool. From Monday, August 31 to Saturday, September 5 the pool will be open from 1:00 to 4:30 daily. The pool will close as of 5:00 on September 5. We hope you’ve all had a great summer of swimming, lessons and enjoying the pool. Hopefully everything will return to normal for the next season!!!

Hello everyone! Unfortunately due to lack of interest and attendance, the early bird lane swim will be cancelled for the rest of the season. Evening lane swims will still continue Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s from 8-9pm.

Here is the lesson schedule for set 3! This runs from August 17th-28th on weekdays. Just a reminder that Preschool levels- level 4 require a caregiver in the water with the child. Can't wait to see you there!

If you are interested in signing up for the third set of Red Cross lessons, there is still room. However, you may not be able to register online. Feel free to contact Tami Scott at 306-483-2747 between 10:00 and 4:30 until Thursday to register.
