Did you know that you can observe northern lights or Aurora Borealis in Canada? The best months to see the Aurora Borealis in Canada are from October to March (most hours of darkness). The best spots to see Aurora Borealis is Porteau Cove Provincial Park near the Sea to Sky Highway in Squamish and Sakinaw Lake on the Sunshine Coast.... Here are some popular locations for catching a glimpse of the ethereal northern lights in Canada: Kamloops, British Columbia Whitehorse, Yukon La Ronge, Saskatchewan Muncho Lake Provincial Park, British Columbia Fort McMurray, Alberta Iqaluit, Nunavut Yellowknife, Northwest Territories Battle Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador Dempster Highway, Yukon
