About Us I have been a business owner since 1991 operating a successful gas fitting company for many years. In 1997 while still doing that business, myself and 2 family members began the dream of building a hyperbaric oxygen chamber for ailing horses. With my serious interest in hyperbaric oxygen and my uncle’s passion for horses, we ventured into the manufacturing of HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) chambers for the equine industry. I built my first single horse mobile hyper...baric chamber and continued to study and do as much local testing as possible which included spending a couple of seasons operating at the Fraser Downs Racetrack and Hastings Racecourse. We quickly grew a successful business building and selling single and double equine HBOT chambers to various equine vets, rehabilitation centers and to large equine farm owners throughout the world in places such as Kentucky, Maryland, Tennessee, California, Florida, Texas & Australia to name a few. We also built and sold some small animal chambers along the way. I had the pleasure of working with some of the top horse trainers and equine vets in the industry. This included training dozens of chamber operators at some of the most prestigious horse rehabilitation facilities in the world. Working closely in the equine world, we were able to collect a large array of successful case studies proving the vast benefits of HBOT on the healing of horses. Our oxygen chambers were credited with saving numerous horses lives some being worth millions of dollars. Wanting to spend more time close to home, I then began making plans for my newest venture. My dream was to offer pet owners a facility where their pets could receive (HBOT) treatments and also provide a service to aid vets in the pet care they already provide in their practice. Thus I formed Oxy-Pet U Treat Hyperbarics, the first facility of its kind to provide affordable, HBOT therapy for pet owners to safely treat their dogs, cats and other small animals. It is Oxy-Pet’s goal and vision to one day establish our U Treat HBOT facilities in communities everywhere. We take great in pride providing our services, helping to advance the health and well being of animals everywhere.
