***Update for potential vendors: As of Tuesday, October 20 I have room only for those vendors requesting one table, those vendors requesting multiple tables will be directed to the Sunday November 29 market day. Thanks Betty... After our last summer market our committee met to discuss how our season went. Under the restrictions of federal, provincial and municipal regulations it was deemed a moderate success. We also decided to proceed with our fall Christmas market with some changes and modifications. We were fortunate to have the use of the Legion for a two day weekend market. The date is November 28 and 29. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m to 4 p.m. with vendors allowed to be set up prior to the market opening. There will 20 different vendors each day. Rules in place to comply with COVID regulations and restrictions we require all vendors wear face coverings or shields, everyone in the building must provide name and contact information and social distancing and population limits will apply. Of course should conditions change, we would have to abide by them. DebMart will be providing a lunch each day. There will be a 50-50 each day. I am optimistic that even if this market will look a little different, with our strong local customer base it will be successful. It is so important that we as a community pull together to support our businesses whether it something uniquely made by local crafters or our home based entrepreneur. Until we meet again, keep safe, be kind to your neighbors, support local and we will see you at the market.
