With Lake Trout opening up in some areas January 1st we have stocked up on some favorites! They also work well on other species !

A quick reminder that the speed limit on the ice road is a maximum of 15 kmh . Tell your guest and if you see somebody going too fast dont hesitate to let the store know .

Over the course of October there will be extensive work done on the bridge leading into Petrie Island. Although the road is closed at the top of the hill marina customers will have access . If there is any issues please call the store .

This Canada day the entrance to Petrie Island will be blocked off again . Slip owners will be able to pick up a pass in the store Thursday that will grant them access to the marina . Those without a slip can get access assuming they are towing a boat and plan on using the launch.... The police and organizing committee are asking us that our customers not use the road between 10pm and 11pm to allow the partygoers time to walk up the hill safely .

Our new trailer got put to work yesterday launching the bulk of our blocked boats. This 40' flybridge almost looks small on the trailer.

With this being a quiet time of year and the impending winter weather we will be closed until next Thursday . For those looking to make payments on boat slips and storage we will gladly accept them at the end of next week . We will be closing the road this morning due to the warm temps in a effort to have the best possible road conditions for the derby on Saturday . If using a atv or snowmobile please try and stay off the main road as much as possible please .

Well the water is still rising and there isover a foot of water and slush at all the ramps . We will keep the roads closed for today and potentially tomorrow .

Looks like we dodged a bullet and the snow storm will miss us. The ice road access points will be closed at 9am friday morning to all cars and trucks in order to keep the ice road in good condition for the weekend . This will also give us time to rebuild the ramps. Atv's and snowmobiles are fine on the ice but please remain off the roads as much as possible .

The ice hut village is comming together nicely! Still some huts to go on but progressing nicely !

Reports are comming in and the perch and pike are hungry !! The sun is slowly descending and that means the walleye should be rolling in very soon !

Au fil des ans, j'ai connu de nombreuses personnes incroyables, vécu des expériences uniques et acquis des souvenirs incroyables pour remplir facilement quelques livres. To all of my present and past clients, acquaintances and visitors: after 14 years of being at the helm of Oziles, time has come for me to move on to different projects. As of Monday, October 16th, there will be a new owner at Oziles. Eric Theriault, owner of the Rockliffe Boat House will be greeting you and assuming ownership responsibilities for the marina and all operations. Familiar faces will remain as both John and Mathieu will continue in their roles and will be suppo...rting Ericwith his plans for Oziles. Over the years I have come to know many amazing people, live unique experiences and acquire amazing memories to easily fill a couple of books. I thank all of you whom have accompanied me on this journey and wish you all safe boating, fishing, paddling, ice fishing, bird watching or whatever activity that brought you to our doorstep.
